Presets, banks and sharing

A preset is a saved scene: its layers, visualizations and settings, colours, effects, modulations, LFOs, motion settings and transition. Everything is in the Presets tab.

Saving

Under Current scene:

  • Name — rename the scene.
  • Save — update the preset you loaded (or save a new one if it's built in).
  • Save as — type a name and save a new preset.
  • Copy share link and Export — see Sharing and Import and export.

Every preset gets a thumbnail of how it looks.

Banks and slots

For live use there are 10 banks of 10 slots, mapped to the number keys:

KeyWhat it does
1–0Load the preset in that slot of the current bank.
⇧ + 1–0Save the current scene into that slot.
Alt + 1–0Flash: show that preset only while you hold the key, then snap back.
S / WPrevious / next bank.
A / DPrevious / next preset in the bank.
RA random preset.

In the Presets tab, click a slot to load it, click an empty slot (or Shift-click a full one) to save there, and to clear it. Rename a bank by typing in its name. The strip shows the bank's slots along the bottom too.

Bank 1, Built-in, comes with ten starter presets, and a Concert bank has laser-show presets.

Favorites

An unlimited list, separate from the banks — see Favorites.

The library

Library lists every preset you have. Search by name or tag; click to load. Each row has:

  • — put it in a slot of the current bank.
  • — export it as a file.
  • — delete it (built-in presets can't be deleted).

Sharing

Copy share link copies a link containing the whole scene. Anyone who opens it sees your look, ready to save. The scene travels in the part of the link after #, which browsers never send to a server, so sharing stays private.

Custom palettes are included. Uploaded shaders and MilkDrop presets aren't: the person you share with needs the same shader (or the MilkDrop pack turned on), otherwise that layer falls back to a built-in visualization.

Import and export

Under Import & export:

ButtonSaves
Export (Current scene)The current scene as a preset file.
Export bankThe current bank's ten slots.
Export everythingYour whole library: presets, banks, favorites, custom palettes and uploaded shaders.
Import files…Any of the above, plus ISF shaders. Imports never overwrite: imported presets are added alongside yours.

You can also drop these files anywhere on the page. Your settings and keyboard shortcuts are exported separately, from Settings → Profile.

Transitions

When a preset is loaded from a slot or by auto-pilot, it arrives with its own transition — see Transitions. When a change is waiting for the next beat, bar or phrase, a banner at the top shows what's coming.

Everything runs in your browser: no account, no uploads, no tracking.
