Settings and shortcuts
The Settings tab
Settings are grouped by topic — Audio, Beat & analysis, Visual, Transitions & auto-pilot, Performance, Safety & accessibility, Controls and Advanced — as sections you open one at a time.
- Search finds a setting by name or description; every matching section opens.
- Show advanced reveals a few debugging settings.
- Settings that only matter when a switch is on (like auto-pilot's options) appear, indented, when you turn that switch on. Search still finds them, with a note saying which switch they need.
- A preset badge means the current preset is setting that value. Change it and the new value is saved into the scene.
- A reload badge means a change takes effect after reloading the page.
Every setting, with its range and default, is listed in the settings reference.
Where settings are kept
- This device — things about this computer: audio devices, latency, performance.
- Your preferences — personal choices, kept in this browser and included in your profile export.
- Saved in the preset — intensity, beat reaction and smoothing travel with each look.
Keyboard shortcuts
Settings → Keyboard shortcuts lists every action with its keys:
- Click a key to remove it.
- Press next to an action, then press the key combination you want. Shortcuts the browser or system keeps for itself (like closing the tab) can't be used.
- Reset to defaults restores the original keys.
Press ? anywhere for a summary of the current keys. The shortcut reference lists the defaults.
MIDI
Settings → MIDI turns MIDI on and maps pads and keys to actions. See MIDI controllers.
Profile
Export settings & shortcuts saves your device settings, preferences and keyboard shortcuts to a file; Import… loads one — for setting up a second computer, or keeping a backup. Presets aren't included (export those from the Presets tab).
